Re: Electric Ambulance Pilot Project

The BC Branch of CAPE (Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment) is glad to support the implementation of this pilot project, described by David Hollingworth.

We think that a gradual transition from gas powered vehicles to electric vehicles is necessary to lessen the pollution caused by cars and trucks, and to help mitigate the effects of climate change.

We also think that the medical system should be in the forefront of trying to set healthy standards.

David Hollingworth presents a good case for instituting an electric ambulance fleet. We strongly support him in his endeavour.

Sincerely,

Larry Barzelai, MD – Chair: BC-CAPE
