Mercedes To Build Electric Sprinter Van

Mercedes has announced it's plans to start building electric versions of it's Sprinter van starting in 2019. This development was not missed by ambulance manufacturer, Demers Ambulances, who described the news as "Exciting" on their Facebook page, and asked their followers what they thought of a "Green Fleet". Demers currently offers ambulances built on the Mercedes Sprinter chassis. The development of a mass produced electric ambulance chassis, is certainly encouraging to those who see zero emission vehicles as a natural fit for the health care industry.
